Krone is the market leader in swap bodies, known for their rigid chassis and superstructures, offered in either sliding curtain or closed box versions with steel rear doors. The trailers, specially designed for this use, come with 2 axles (front/rear or center tandem), and feature loading heights at the chassis suitable for standard or high-volume boxes (with lowered chassis). Mobile boxes can be made of steel, optionally equipped with double loading decks on two levels, along with various cargo securing systems.

A refrigerated version is also available, with sandwich panels and an independent refrigeration unit, or with 30 mm sandwich panels for fresh goods. Curtain-sided mobile boxes feature a sliding roof, movable side pillars, and a MultiLock floor frame. For long goods, the ideal solution is the curtain-sided swap body, 13.6 m in length.
